Went for a walk today. Saw a couple cats near my office.
After work I had to go replace some parts of a Geocache. It involved a couple mile walk around Maclay Flats.
The trail is pretty easy for most of the trip.
There were some wet and muddy spots due to the rain earlier in the day.
Along a good portion of the trail there are informational signs talking about the area and what can be seen from each location.
The first one third-ish part of the trail follows along an irrigation ditch that is filled with water during the summer.
There are a few breaks in the trees which contain meadows like this one.
There are two paths around the Flat. One is shorter. I took the longer to get to where the geocache is.
The second meadow of the trip also shows a distant hill with almost the last of the sun showing on it.
The Geocache is a multi-stage. The second stage had a broken container. You can see the old one in the bottom of this picture. The new one is in its location above and to the right.
The third stage had some worn numbers that needed replacing. I didn't get a picture of that one as the light was mostly gone.
I passed by the river on the way back to the Jeep and outside the trees there was a bit of light to snap a last picture.
