LORE
The rumors tell the tale that these little buggers began to spawn with the arrival of Chaos Legion in the region. They are merciless creatures and do not distinguish between any creature of the world, if they sense anything close by, they immediately rush towards the target and jab their thorny teeth deep into the skin. Those who survived sethropods attacks, live with the scars until death in fear and pain.

BATTLE LINEUP
The image given below shows the battle lineups of both parties.
I have used very basic water units.
Kelya Frendul as the summoner to beef up the armor and to protect my team from melee and ranged attacks and to speed up my units' attacks.
Cruel Sethropod is facing the enemy and it can survive a good amount of rounds with additional armor provided.
Venari Wavesmith has an amazing "Protect" ability, which will also provide +2 armor to the whole team, it will make Sethropod even more strong.
Sniping Narwhal is used for damaging backline targets to reduce their support units in the first 2 rounds.
Pelacor Bandit hits the last monster due to his sneak ability and also gains extra evasion from the monster who cannot fly.
Albatross is used for consuming enemy attacks to protect other units from Snipe and Sneak monsters' attacks.
Hardy Stonefish consumes 1 mana, it can easily survive 2 rounds if attacked by monsters with sneak ability.
The opponent is using death units, it has very powerful cards which are 1) Thaddius Brood the summoner, 2) Cursed Windeku, 3) Carrion Shade, 4) Death Elemental, 5) Life Sapper, 6) Undead Badger, and 7) Cursed Slimeball.
BATTLE COMMENTARY / STRATEGY
This is a solid 5-round battle and provides an in-depth strategy of the battle in this Youtube video, see how an average team takes on the tank Windeku and his allies.
Round 1
Fredul's war cry boosts the armor and speed of all allies, while Brood's blood magic steals -1 HP and -1 magic attack from opponents, and suddenly Wavesmith throws magical armor to allies giving them good protection from melee and ranged attacks.
Pelacor Bandit sneaks upon Slimeball and finishes his battle career forever. Sniping Narwhal secures the opportunity to end Death Elemental with a thudding splash. Sethropod survives the first round after taking thorny damage from Windeku's antlers.
Round 2
Pelacor Bandit is already hiding behind the enemy's lines, he draws his dagger and pierces it into the back of the badger, and pulls the badger's dark heart out of his carcass.
Tiny Sethropod could not survive the wounds given to him by Windeku, but he valiantly protected his allies and died proudly.
Round 3
Speedy Pelacor Bandit cuts open Life Sapper's skin giving him bleeding injuries, but then Narwhal's tail-slap buries him into the deep waters.
Round 4
Now, it is time for injuring Carrion Shade, one hit by Bandit sends Shade into oblivion. Wavesmith's strong magical shield consumes all hits made by Windeku, but throwing magic balls also saves him from thorny damage because of no direct contact while attacking Windeku.
Round 5
Bandit has already weakened Carrion Shade, he just has to slice his throat to him a funeral goodbye, Carrion is dispatched.
Wavesmith charges up and throws a huge magic ball towards loathsome Windeku, with a foul shriek this horny monster turns into ashes.
Everyone gathers around the fallen corpse of Cruel Sethropod to bid him a final farewell, and then Narwhal takes him into her mouth for a proper burial in an undersea graveyard of the legends.
Pros and Cons of Using Cruel Sethropod
- The card provides good protection to backline units, but it does not last more than 2 rounds.
- The card requires supporting units to provide it extra protection and healing every turn.
- It seems a nice pick for low mana battles.
- It has a minimum damage and speed capability, again he relies on supporting units' help.
- It can be recommended for low mana battles up to Bronze II ranked battles.
