I'm not a scholar at all when it comes to money. But I do have some experience with it now. My first experience was around 18 years old. I got a lot of money from my grandfather. when he died. And my father made me put that on my account. The people at the bank advised me to buy some shares of it. And I had done that. But then my first experience began. Then a plane flew into the WTC. And all the stocks crashed. I saw 1 third evaporate. I panicked and sold what I had left. Was very stupid afterwards. I didn't look at it for a long time after that.
Until about 4 years ago a friend of mine introduced me to crypto. Not necessarily BTC but steemit and how you can earn money with blogging. I even invested some money. I also had other crypto that I had found a pattern in. dope coin was low all month and usually peaked around the 20th. And there I was able to double some small amounts. And then steemit even went to the $8. That was also the time when BTC was at 20,000 And fell very hard again.
At the time I had buyed 100 steem for 500 dollars. That was also quite a miscalculation. And that also dropped to 30 cents.
As far as I understood it on steemit the profit was not distributed fairly. And everyone went to hive. It took me a while to get that. But I think someone said that in my comments.
And now here we are with hive at 2,520 USD.(This may differ last time i looked )
And my estimation is that we can get to 5. But for the same money (that's a proverb in Dutch) but can also mean. That it goes back to the 1 dollar. And I think it's fine. if it goes up I'll sell 150 hive. And if it goes low, I'll buy again. That's my plan and I'll stay here for the time being. I hope this story is of some use to you.
Now that I'm more and more interested in money and how it can work for you. I also watch financial yt videos, And there was something else that I want to report. That there are many more financial crises to come. Especially now that interest rates are low. Is it easy to borrow money in Europe. it's almost free. But that also means that the will to risk increases. Which is favorable for the market now, but cannot be missed as soon as there is a crisis. where a snowball effect makes everything sink even more. Again I am no expert but be warned. past performance is no guarantee for the future. And I would say consciously take your risks. And eventually it will be okay.
