I have told her sorry for that incident multiple times. But as I said in my comment, she thinks it was some dumb thing that kids often does.

My cousin pushed his younger brother from their roof. The younger brother broke his hand, and other injuries.
They mention couple things like that.

Maybe tell her what she means to you, how grateful you are to her for what she has done.

I often do that. In India, we celebrate a lot of festivals. And on most festivals, we touch our elders feet so that they give us their blessings, of success and happiness in life.
My sister is kind of mother figure to me. So, I often touch her feet and ask for blessing on festivals, and tell her everytime how much I value her.
She is just 6 years older than me, so she takes it in a funny way, and treats me as a friend🙂
