It is October once again, and you know creative people what that means. Time to flex those creative minds and muscles and start doing the Inktober challenge. Before I start with my participation let me provide you the rules to this challenge so that you too can join
Make a drawing in ink (you can do a pencil under-drawing if you want).

The more and consistent you do it the better you become each day with your drawing skills. So what are you waiting for? Grab your pencil, pen and paper and start drawing according to the provided prompts below.
The prompt for today is dragon. Here is a massive flying dragon that I made. Took me a while choosing the right image to depict the prompt. Well, I set myself a challenge for this drawing and that is to never give up with the time consuming details. By far, this is the tedious piece that required more time to finish and I'm glad I never got lazy in the process. I'm happy and proud of what my effort had produced.
My vision for this round of inktober is a dragon with big wings and tails then scales. Something that is scary huge.
The trick or secret is in the details if I want to create something monstrous. When the dragon shape is done I can tell how much pen strokes I need to keep doing just to fill out one wing or leg. Very intimidating thought indeed.
When bored or losing motivation, I stop then start with a different area of the drawing to freshen up my head. Here you can tell I'm avoiding the wings because they are the most challenging for me. One bite at a time that is what I had done, I think I can handle the tail so I focused on it. I love the result and that kept me going because I had accomplished one significant part which is the detailed tail. I then worked on the wings while still feeling good and motivated.
It is not every day that we are feeling creative or motivated but there is work to be done. It is up to us to think of ways to have a work around.
Thank you for dropping by.
