Thank you for your thoughtful and insightful reply!

(1) If you object to "Anti-Fascism" because you are against violence, then you are a PACIFIST.

Not necessarily. I don't think one need be a pacifist to object to innocent people being mob beaten as we have seen taking place in recent years by groups claiming to be anti fascist.

You are not objecting to their "Anti-Fascism" you are objecting to the specific people who are attacking innocents (which is not inherently Anti-Fascist). It sounds like you disagree with the tactics of some individual bad-actors who call themselves "Anti-Fascist".

Your implicit motive, if it's not PACIFISM, is (EITHER) self-sovereignty * (OR) legalism (all disputes between individuals should be reported through proper channels and justice should never be taken into the hands of an individual vigilante, in other words, anti-batman).

Are you a PACIFIST? Are you a Sovereign-Individual? Are you a Legalist?

I was surprised actually at how cowardly those under attack had often been. I watched teens beaten (as well as parents who stepped in) watched women being chased as she was being pelted with eggs as no one helped her. People assaulted with urine, bike locks etc. I'm against those scenarios but unlike the many videos I watched, I would have retaliated. You can't chase someone who isn't running.

So you DO believe in taking justice into your own hands? Are you a Sovereign-Individual? Sovereign-Individualism is incompatible with FASCISM, which would make you a tacit (technical) Anti-Fascist.

(IFF) you advocate attacking people who attack innocents (THEN) you are a vigilante.

The "problem" here doesn't appear to be "Anti-Fascism", rather it appears to be "The Broad-Brush Fallacy". * Not all Anti-Fascists attack innocent people. Imagine what would happen if people blamed all Christians for the actions of the KKK. I mean, the KKK are Christians after-all.

It is demonization in general that is the problem.

The idea that your own beliefs are "more objective" or "fair and balanced" than your detractors, and beyond that, all your detractors are either being disingenuous, "are fundamentally and incurably stupid and/or evil", or intellectually deaf and blind. And if you're not "one-of-us" then you are automatically our MORTAL ENEMY. Case closed. Let's all go back to our bubbles. *
