We went back to visit Intramuros, Manila. We went there two years ago and here was my post on it:

Intramuros (Spanish for "within the walls") is a walled area in Manila. Getting there feels like stepping back in time because the original Spanish designs of the houses and even the cobbled roads were preserved. Intramuros is home to two historical churches. San Agustin Church was built around the 1600s while the Manila Cathedral was older, built around 1500s.
In the walls were the old cannons used to defend it. Now, they are merely relics and a reminder of old times.
