Hello Splinterlands warriors and welcome back to my blog!
It's the start of the new season and my grind goes on. I just unlocked Division Six in Silver. It's a difficult climb and the competition is tough but we have to keep going on and earn glints. The glints rewards have substantially increased thus allowing me to buy more reward chests.
Anyway, here are the rewards I received for reaching division four.
Two gold foil copies of rare Mindless Thrall! I consider this a lucky draw since gold foils can already be transferred without the need for scrolls. Of course, there's also the 3k glints that I can use at season end to buy chests.
Featured Battle
It's a high mana battle with a mana cap of eighty seven. In these cases, I'd like to bring in the big guns. My high mana, high damage cards. For this battle, I chose the Dragon archon with Fire units.
In the first position was Doomshield Warden, he's a very capable tank that deals four melee damage and has three speed. On defense, he has seven armor and ten health. He also has the Flank ability allowing another tank card to play in second position. So I chose Drybone Megalodon in second position. It also deals four melee damage and has three speed. On defense, it's a bit weaker with three armor and seven health. On the other hand, it has the Retaliate ability to counterattack. In third is Night Reaper, a versatile card that can serve as my third tank owing to its high health and flying ability. In fourth is legendary card Chuma Marandu. He deals four melee damage and has Sneak and Demoralize abilities. In fifth is Ballista Deadshot who deals five magic damage, my highest damage dealer in the team. Lastly, I had Syrenth who has Taunt and Dodge abilities to draw the enemy's attacks.
The enemy had the Frontier Life archon who grants armor to his troops. However, his units had lower damage than mine. My strategy to have a Taunt unit also paid off and divided the enemy attacks.
