“The Tower of the Elephant” is one of my favorite Conan stories. It plays out like a great Dungeons and Dragons session which is what makes it such a fun story to me. Traditional painting is also very important to me. I may work primary on a cintiq in photoshop, but I still try and find time to work in traditional media. This piece is 16″ by 12″ on a canvas board. I painted it in acrylic paints.
I learned a lot painting this one. On to the next challenge then!
