I am not aware how the tangle architecture specifically is prone to Ddos. If you have any sources on that I would love to see them. Individual nodes can receive too many requests and be over-worked. The

Admittedly IOTA is a work in progress. The current official GUI wallet is not very user friendly to use. However the trinity wallet that will be coming out soon will really make IOTA much nicer to use,
