@splinterlands. Our goal today is to showcase the card Antoid Platoon in battle and to review a different approach to a battle! So without further due let's review the battle! Enjoy!Spotlight Card
The card, we should use today is Antoid Platton, a very solid option for the frontline when you have a low mana cap. Personally, I like to use it at level 4 but in this battle, I'm using it at level 3. The ability Shield is perfect for Melee and Range-focused situations. Also, it is a good card when you face certain types of rules like Equality, Earthquake, etc.
The Battle
Summoner Selection
The summoner I chose for this battle is Pyre at level 3. It's one of the very good value-for-money summoners for the Fire class, I'm paying for this card 1 DEC/day. Also, his ability to grant +1 Speed, to all friendly monsters is pretty useful and it could make a difference in some battles! Especially when the Mana Cap is low, the extra Speed can make the difference and win the matchup!
Ruleset
- Melee Mayhem: Melee attack Monsters can attack from any position
Teams' Formation
- The first monster I used is Furious Chicken, the reason is pretty obvious to tank the first hit.
- The second monster I used is Antoid Platοon, and this is our main tank and as you will see in a bit the clear MVP for this battle.
- My third choice was Venator Kinjo, the reason was to protect my formation from any possible ability threats from my opponent. The stats are pretty good if you consider that it costs only 2 mana.
- My last pick was Goblin Shaman. If you keep an eye on my posts you already know that this card is one of my favorites and the reason is the ability Weaken. When the Mana Cap is low, there are good chances that your opponent is going to use low-health monsters and in this way, we try to exploit it even more.
