I'm thrilled today because there is a huge possibility of quitting my current shitty job for a far better position related to my field. I don't want to jinx it but I had to share it with you because this is a huge step for me and that means that I could take a break from the platform in the early weeks of the next year. Well, there is quite some time until then but I had to share it because it's a really big step for me and surely will affect my activity here on Hive and especially the posting part. So, I am done with the sharing part because we have to review the results of the weekend event.
Report from Weekend Event
Thoughts about the result
Well, the results are not bad this week either but as some of you already understood from the banner I had to reach for help from an old friend to assist me in order to increase my win rate at those 18 games. His name is Lysander and as you understood I used a version of an aggro Light deck for my last games because my Aggro war deck was not performing so well. That was a bit alarming tbh because even with the changes I made I didn't find a way to overcome many of the decks that I played against. The positive news was that the variation of this Light deck performed pretty well and in order to have a valid database I played a couple of games extra.
Decklists
Aggro War
The record is pretty bad as you can clearly see at a 43.8% win rate in 16 total matches. The thing that worried me a lot was the fact that I did really try to be focused on the games and I don't believe that I had a chance to win at any point in the matches that I eventually lost.
Aggro Light
This is one variation of the Aggro Light deck that we didn't have explored until now. You can see that there is some similar card with my old deck but it's pretty different in many key cards like the spells. It's way more aggro than the last one and I really like this aspect. So, I believe that it could perform pretty decent in the current meta.
Unpacking Rewards
Well, the rewards were pretty good this time and how could I possibly be not really satisfied from the moment that I got an epic and a legendary on the same pack? Overall I found 7 Epic cards and 1 Legendary in 7 packs and I believe that's my best record until now. The value is not something really impressive but we are in a bear phase so I can't complain much either.

Aggro War Against Aggro Light
As most of you already guessed the battle for control over the board was pretty harsh from the start but thankfully I had plenty of answers on my hand and after constantly value trading I was able to deal him a lot of damage. Whenever you face this type of Light deck you should remember that you must not give your the chance to your opponent to buff his minions. Full clear the board first and only after that you can start to deal damage to his face.
Aggro Light against Order Deception
In this battle we have another situation in that we must do strictly only the necessary trades in order to maintain control over the board and of course the number one priority here is not to fully clear the board but to deal as much damage as we can in our opponent's face quickly. The main goal is not to reach the late game and finish this game at least in the midgame.
