Mommy's with Grandma Ann this week, so it's just me and daddy.
On Tuesday mommy left before I even woke up. I talked a lot about her and wanting to go see her on this day. I was told where she was, and wanted to go there, but daddy said we would go with mommy on a trip there in eighty sleeps, and I asked where that was, and then daddy suggested I close my eyes and imagine it, and I said I could see it, and could we go to eighty sleep's house?
On Wednesday we went to union station and then to Chinatown and I played in the fountain, and then we went to a store and I called all the things in the store candy. They were beads and little statues and even fans and nunchucks and jewelry, but I called them all candy. Then later that day, the neighbor gave me a rc car and a bubble wand. And while I slept daddy put batteries in, and there are buttons in the middle of the remote control that don't do anything, and those are my pretend buttons. And I can make it move with the other buttons. I'm more of a button smasher player than any kind of intentional car moving. Belmont is trying to destroy it. It bugs him. OH and I refused to nap because there was a fly in my room, which I called a flying spider. I decided I'm scared of it. Daddy took it out of my room, but I was too wound up by then.
Then today we went to the garden in the morning, and I pretended to give daddy the plants for his birthday, and pretended the gate on a track was a train and I climbed up in the tractor with some help from daddy, but very independently, and I spilled the wood stain on the floor of the shed, and proudly told dad "I spilled all the paint" and I could tell dad was frustrated - he'd oh so briefly looked away to take a video of a hummingbird to share with mommy because she likes hummingbirds so much - so I played on the big dirt pile while daddy was cleaning up the wood stain. I tried briefly climbing on daddy's back, but he insisted I let him clean. Then we went home and I asked for a burger, but then I didn't want to eat a burger. Then I napped a long time, and then we went with Stan to Barnsdall, and I got some chocolate... OH! daddy forgot to give me my chocolate egg! and on the way home, we got ice cream, then I played on the hill on the corner with the tree for nearly an hour while daddy and stan sat and talked. All the dogs came, too.
