They say that life is a teacher and that the more we live the more we learn , I totally agree with that and one of the things I have learnt in life is about abusive spending.
I refer to an abusive spending as a financial situation whereby one spends in a careless way which will hurt their finances , in a way that will make them go miserably broke.
I have engaged in abusive spending several times and it really caused so much damage to my finances and made me go broke and it was a dark moment in my life .
How did i overcome the situation??
I was able to overcome the problem through consistent budgeting , budgeting really made it possible for me to be able to control how I spend my money and what I spend my money on , budgeting was an effective tool that really made me have a strong financial discipline and it made to have control over the temptation to overspend.
My finances got better ever since the moment when I started practicing budgeting consistently and when I started to realize the dangers that comes with the careless spending , I also became a better person around my loved ones because I now spend more on relevant things that adds values to our lives and not irrelevant things that only makes me get broke alot of times.
If you are also experiencing problems caused by reckless spending , then you too should take the step which I took and that involves practice of effective budgeting with the mindset to stay true to your budgeting plans.
