土耳其烤肉来自在世界上三大菜系之一。壮观的烤肉柱、四溢的香气充满了大街小巷、商场、饭店、车站、游乐场所、居民区，已成为欧美街头一道亮丽的风景线。其经久不衰的火爆场面令人叹为观止，流连忘返。
土国人还非常善于料理茄子，本想一个茄子能做出什么花来？那是因为我前半生没尝过土耳其的茄子灌肉，将粗壮的茄子推进烤箱，用橄榄油将洋葱和蒜头爆香，加入牛绞肉炒熟，然后把肉塞进茄子里，加入番茄酱，小火炖。吃到嘴里兼职妙不可言。
这里大多数都是肉类，蔬菜就是沙拉盘，对于我这个中国人没有蔬菜吃不下饭有点不习惯。毕竟天天吃肉不是我的强项呀！土耳其除了烤肉，还有冰激凌，咖啡，饼，等等好多值得一试的美食，只有你想不到的，没有他们做不出来的食物。当然个人认为也不是每个都对我们的胃口。
在伊斯坦布尔，街道旁和广场上，经常可以看到现榨现卖的水果摊，非常新鲜，口感极佳，炎热的天气，喝上一杯，感觉倍爽儿。
