This is my first ever scribble art and scribble portrait. I've been fascinated by this technique but have never managed to do anything decent with it. I actually still can't with a traditional ballpen but since a digital medium does not come with the annoying blots from a pen and allows you to resize your brush to that delicate size I'm able to use, I thought why not try something new today?

So here's the finished piece

I started as usual with an outline

Then I began to scribble馃樃

Since my background was dark, I struggled to get the same color which I wanted to use for the hair and eyebrows standout. So I thought to do something like a scribble underpainting

That didn't give me the desired effect, so I proceeded to set my layer to multiply and add that yellow to make it pop. I also did not use the scribble technique for the hair because I felt it needed a solid color to help unifiy everything and I added some shadows as well with a different brush for the same reason.
