I wanted to do an imitation of my watercolor painting of a dog from yesterday in the sketchbook pro app. I have to say I don't like the watercolor brushes in sketchbook pro. They don't work well for the effect I want. And I'm looking forward to the day sketchbook pro provides the option to change the texture of your canvas.
I've explored some apps online and seen these features but unfortunately they lack the one crucial feature which is canvas rotation. If you're using a phone with a detached drawing tablet, there's really no way to create without rotating your canvas.
Anyways, for this piece, I used the glow brush to create the lines and I love how it turned out. I also decided to go minimal with the rest of the body. I think I've stumbled on a new style and want to recreate a few watercolor portraits this way. Let's see how it goes!
