I would be interested to know what some of you deem as being successful.
I had this conversation the other day and it got me thinking.
I will tell you what I do not think is a sign of success.
Money!!
Money does not make you a success - there are plenty of people with loads of money and often they can be not so nice people.
Of course, working hard and achieving wealth is great - but does that make you successful?
To my mind, the successful people are the ones that are "real" in the true sense of the word.
They have compassion, they value other people and just get on with life in their own quiet way - no ego, no arrogance, in fact they often have achieved amazing things and yet never speak of them.
Yes, we need money to survive, but it should never be your measure of success.
Many years ago I met some old friends of my late dad - they were multi millionaires, but you would never guess that as they were the salt of the earth people and never boasted about their wealth.
I wonder what you think success is?
