Cape Town is a place that really messes with the mind.
Just as we have kissed winter goodbye and are celebrating the beginning of Spring - then we get a day like yesterday which was 34 degrees - a hot summer's day - then poof! it was gone and today it is back to clouds and rain.
One day can produce three different types of weather!
My plants must be just as confused as I am and yet they struggle on in order to claim Spring.
Well, I am claiming Spring too regardless of how the weather decides to mess with my mind.
My theory being, that the plants know more than I do - so I watch their progress.
The blossoms on my Prunus tree are almost finished and already the beautiful dark maroon leaves are appearing - and these are the new leaves for summer - haha - or spring!!
