Spring - the season that I really look forward to as it means that I can kiss winter goodbye - no more freezing cold and wet days and no more having to get up in the dark.
Well, we are almost there - in the Cape that is.
September is the first day of spring - a little later where I live, but one can really feel that the garden is waking up slowly.
My Banksia rose is starting to flower, - as is my confetti bush and my Prunus is pushing out one or two blossoms and I know that very soon it will be a beautiful, show stopping mass of blossoms.
All these are small signs that let me know that Spring is coming soon and I can't wait!
