I just love the way kids go through their younger years with such passion and energy - they are fearless about life in general and really are such a great example of living in the moment.

I can remember parts of my own life when I felt like this but sadly adulthood eroded this mindset and life became abiding by rules and laws taking away that freedom.

When a child shows passion about something, adults so often squash this by pointing out all the negatives and in so doing, they kill that innocent passion within the child.

A child's imagination has no boundries and therefore when we see this, we should forget about the adult within us and go down into the imaginative mind of the child and share their passion regardless of the fact that it may be totally impossible - in other words, live in the moment - after all, we were once like that - believing in fairies, magic etc., - the sheer innocence of a child's mind is truly beautiful and we should grab every opportunity to share these brief moments in their lives - there will be time enough for them to have to deal with the adult world.

Think back to your own childhood - the person you wanted to be, the things that you were going to do - you didn't think of how it would be achieved, - you just believed that you were capable of doing it - how wonderful it would be if we could hold on to this mindset throughout our adult life.
