The mother of all storms is presently moving in here in Cape Town so thought that I would do a short post before we get a power cut which could happen.
Winds of 100km per hour are expected with heavy rain, thunder and lightening and flooding - so it is not weather to be out and about in.
I can handle the rain, but the gale force winds scare me as my place is high up and I fear for my roof.
My containers with my veggies in are already taking a beating from the wind.
After I had finished giving my art class, I went out to the shops to get groceries so that I would not have to venture out again today.
I have put a pot of soup on so that will be supper.
It is a day to batten down hatches and brace oneself for the storm.
