My rubba ducks collection

I used to have a very big collection of rubber ducks. How many? How about over 300 馃槂? Is that big enough? I blogged about them before many years ago on the chain and why I had to give nearly half of them away. The remaining of my collection has been with me ever since. Sadly, in the past 3 years, my duckies have been storage and I haven't seen them in a long time. I've been meaning to set them up in their new home for a while.

This shelf pack has been standing in my toilet for many months. I know once I open it, it will unleash a lot of work for me, and that's why I have been putting it off. Procrastination is my area of expertise. Earlier this week, I finally decide to bite the bullet and take the plunge. What's gotta be done has gotta be done!

Here's my bag of ducks, they've been in storage for three yearsTime to come out for a bath duckies!! Nice and clean makes you beam!

After over 2 hours in the bath being pampered by me, my duckies are finally settled in their new home. I have 8 racks on my shelf and they have occupied 7 of them. Let me show them to you. Don't be shy duckies!!!

On the top shelf are 3 big standing ones, they double up as money boxes. The one second to the left with red and blue hair is called LUT 馃槉 I'll tell you more about her in a minute.

The next two shelves are the standard size ducks, they come in all different designs

And in the three lower shelves are the smaller ducks.

Tiny ducks

Some of the ducks are tiny, take a look at these. Aren't they really cute 馃槏 I think I have over 30 of these tiny ducks. Some are keyrings, and others are magnets like the left one on my palm. It's still a bit dirty as I was too tired to give the little ones a proper scrub after their 2 hour bath.

Mega ducks

On the other end, I have two mega ducks, they're too big for the shelf and have to sit by the window. The big jumbo duck on the left is the Queen Bee Duck and the one of the right is also a money box like the other three you saw earlier on.

My favourite ducks

Some may wonder out of all these rubba ducks, which one is my favourite? That's a really difficult question. I like a lot of them I don't think I can choose a favourite, but some have a special meaning. For example, like this one.

Genesis Duck

Previously I mentioned that I used to do business trips in Australia quite a lot. One time, I was there before Christmas and went to the office Christmas party. We did a gift exchange and I got this duck. It was my first rubber duck and my collection snowballed from there. I guess you call this my Genesis Duck.

LUT

This is LUT, named after yours truly 馃槈, you can read her introduction post here. LUT used to run her own Taking LUT Out contest. It was really fun. Maybe I shall ask if she wants to restart that again.

I still need to jiggle my duckies around before they can permanently settle down. The smaller ones needs to go on the top shelf so the little children can't get hold of them. It will be very dangerous if they swallow them, they can't have duckies for dinner 馃ゴ.

I can't wait to see the children's face light up when they next visit me and open the toilet door for a wee wee 馃槏
