Tengo pendiente esta semana un congreso del postgrado que dirige mi mejor amiga, así que tenía que hacer unas compras de último minuto, pensé ir hoy, pero mi cita con la neuróloga era hoy, así que no me iba a dar tiempo, además cuando voy a los centros comerciales prefiero que sea un tiempo extenso porque soy bien específica con lo que quiero comprar, es decir tengo en mente lo que quiero, solo debo conseguirlo 🫠.

I have pending this week a postgraduate congress that my best friend runs, so I had to do some last minute shopping, I thought about going today, but my appointment with the neurologist was today, so I was not going to give me time, besides when I go to the malls I prefer it to be an extended time because I am very specific with what I want to buy, I mean I have in mind what I want, I just have to get it 🫠.
El hecho es que después que escogí lo que iba a comprar, que era una cartera, un pantalón y unas sandalias para el congreso, me fui con mi mamá a tomarnos unos cafés, me disculpo por las fotos, quería mostrarles más de la panadería y pastelería, pero estaba realmente full porque era fin de semana, todo iba a salir abarrotado de personas, así que no tomé más fotos.

Mi mamá por su lado vio que vendían ensaladas y decidió pedir una ensalada de tomate, lechuga, aceitunas y cangrejo llamada "Dolce Vita" que tenía un descuento especial y estaba en 4$; yo por mi parte no tenía nada de hambre, solo tomé el café y mientras hablamos probé las galletas, las cuales no debería comer porque tienen gluten, pero obviemos eso por ahora hasta que me pase factura el gluten esta semana 🫠.

El café estaba bueno, se los juro que sí, y el ambiente a pesar de que todo estaba full de personas, no se sintió tan pesado porque el mesero hizo muy bien su trabajo, nos atendió muy bien, lo que considero que estuvo mal fue el precio del café, 3$ cada uno ¿Pueden creerlo? Me pareció demasiado caro ¡perdón! pero fue así, siento que he tomado mejores cafés por la mitad de ese precio.
The coffee was good, I swear it was, and the atmosphere despite the fact that everything was full of people, it did not feel so heavy because the waiter did his job very well, he served us very well, what I consider was wrong was the price of the coffee, 3$ each, can you believe it? I thought it was too expensive, sorry! but it was like that, I feel I have had better coffees for half that price.
Por otro lado la ensalada de mi mamá fue muy pequeña, tanto que la pobre llegó a la casa a comer porque en 30 minutos esa ensalada había desaparecido de su estómago, además según ella dijo, no tenía sabor, honestamente era lo más común y corriente del mundo, así que por 4$ me pareció muy caro, pero, bueno, ella fue feliz mientras la comió, hasta que desapareció de su estómago y ya no fue tan feliz, fue entonces cuando aprendimos la lección, no comer más ensaladas ahí, ni tampoco tomar cafés 🥹.
On the other hand my mom's salad was very small, so much so that the poor thing came home to eat because in 30 minutes that salad had disappeared from her stomach, besides according to her she said, it had no taste, honestly it was the most common and ordinary thing in the world, so for 4$ it seemed very expensive to me, but, well, she was happy while she ate it, until it disappeared from her stomach and she was not so happy anymore, it was then when we learned our lesson, not to eat any more salads there, nor drink coffees 🥹.
Muchos me preguntan por qué termino siempre comiendo sushi, y es que a mí no me gusta probar comida en lugares nuevos a menos que tenga una recomendación de alguien conocido y este en verdad no la tenía, pero nos aventuramos porque es una panadería y pastelería que abrieron nueva, además es la única que hay en todo el centro comercial, pensamos que todo estaría mejor que las otras que han puesto en el mismo lugar y que, casualmente, todas han cerrado con anterioridad 🥹🥹, pero siento que aun cuando el servicio fue bueno, gracias a los meseros que hacen muy buen trabajo, todo fue ¡muy costoso! Y menos mal que no pedimos nada más.
Many people ask me why I always end up eating sushi, and the thing is that I don't like to try food in new places unless I have a recommendation from someone I know and this one really didn't, but we ventured there because it is a bakery and pastry shop that opened new, plus it's the only one in the whole mall, we thought everything would be better than the others they have put in the same place and that, coincidentally, all have closed previously 🥹🥹, but I feel that even though the service was good, thanks to the waiters who do a very good job, everything was way too expensive! And thank goodness we didn't order anything else.
Debo reconocer que lo que sí me gustó del lugar fue el decorado de Halloween que tenían hasta en las vidrieras y neveras, muy bonito, pero no valen esos 6$ en cafés, lo siento amigos ¡no lo valen! 🥲 lo que sí lo vale es la felicidad de mi mamá por salir de la casa y sentarse a tomarse ese café, adjunto fotos en la parte de arriba para que me den la razón, no hay nada más bonito que eso y solo por eso aun con todo lo que digo ¡lo volvería a hacer mil veces!
Así que, en eso consintió nuestro domingo, compartimos, salimos de la rutina, dimos vueltas por el centro comercial, tuvimos una no muy buena experiencia, pero en general la pasamos bien, la verdad, su fin de semana ¿cómo estuvo?
I must admit that what I did like about the place was the Halloween decorations they had even in the windows and fridges, very nice, but not worth those 6$ in coffees, sorry friends it's not worth it! 🥲 what is worth it is my mom's happiness for leaving the house and sitting down to have that coffee, I attach pictures above to prove me right, there is nothing nicer than that and just for that alone even with everything I say I would do it again a thousand times!
