POEM: Pretentious

Pretending....

It's the hardest thing to do
Showing everyone you're okay
When deep down you're feeling blue
You laugh when you are with them
You smile like a dazzling sun
And sing like the world is lots of fun
But whenever its just you alone
You shed your tears in misery
They thought you had no problems
They think you'd be fine on your own
No one knows the real you
They all thought that you are strong
Little did they know that you're a weakling
Hiding in a mask of stone
Trying to be somebody
Pretending to be all merry,
but deep down hates the world
