My journey from Boston USA 🇺🇸 back to Spain 🇪🇸 over two longgg days… ✈️
Hi all 👋🏻
Some of you know I traveled to America for holidays… guess what… those 2 weeks are already gone 😳FINISHED!
It went by soooo fast, but you know, a holiday always goes fast especially when you are having fun 🤩
I want to share today our journey back from Boston in Massachusetts America 🇺🇸 via Madrid Spain 🇪🇸 to Málaga and back home.
So if you missed me being around here the last 2 weeks… you know why now. 😎
We discovered the New England region (north east America) on our 2 week holidays. Drove a lot and walked a lot… Visiting trails in forests, mountains, saw waterfalls and some hill town villages… had adventures in Boston city and we for sure explored nature and saw the leaves turn slowly for autumn 🍂 🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁
Those stories I will share with you soon, as I will have to go through my tons of photographs first after transferring them to my laptop 💻 hehehe 🤭 and edited them. As… I bought a new camera 📸 🤩🥳 yeah! Happy littlebee 🐝 here. 🥳📸
All photographs in this post were taken Friday and Saturday with my iPhone ~ 7 and 8 October 2022 😎 I will follow the time stamps for you so you have an idea of the journey time. Let me tell you… it was longgggggggg 🤓🤣 🥱😴😴
Let’s have a look at my journey from the last 2 days and what I saw:
Times of the 2 flights…
With a change in the last flight, as you can see luckily earlier as we had already a long wait for more than 5 hours in between flights. ✈️
Saturday 7 October around midday 🕛
I packed our suitcases 🧳 and after we got to the airport in Boston 🇺🇸 I see at the baggage drop off these flags above us.
Going through security and all checks I look out of the window and see no plane yet. 😊
Of course it’s not there yet… we are a bit early hehehe 🤭
So we decided to have a nice lunch in one of the restaurants at the airport in Terminal E (international flights)
I noticed all the reflections… do you see all of them? 😎
Also on the phone 📱… now you do 😉
After a while the plane lands and is getting cleaned and filled up again. It’s 15:34h here…
I see a rain cloud in the back 🌧☔️
See you in a bit 👋🏻👋🏻✈️
Walking around to stretch the legs… I see this shop with a Harley in the window 🏍
People asking questions at the desk… we still need to wait a bit longer before boarding 🤓✈️
We could board the plane at 16:54h. Looking out of the window I see:
Inside the cabin… more people entering.
And we start reversing at 17:22h ✈️
Rolling forward now…
Crossing some runways…
Turning corners…
A line of waiting planes in front of us… traffic jam 😉🤩😎
There are 10 planes in front of us for take off…
I zoomed in on the blue plane, if you look closely before that blue plane there are 4 dinky little private planes, waiting like us ✈️🛩🛩🛩🛩
We are rolling further… time 17:28h now.
Turning around the corner…
Turns out we have some time to look around for a while 😊 17:44h here.
Rolling little bit by little bit further… ✈️🛩
We are passing by some cute views. I’m zooming in for you 😎
Beautiful boats and water front houses, next to the airport.
Going around the corner to the runway for take off now…
And we are up in the air… 🛫 17:47h Friday afternoon 🤓
Circling over Boston 🇺🇸👋🏻
Bye bye Boston, hope until soon… 👋🏻👋🏻😉😊
We pass over Fort independence.
And I see this amazing big cloud… with it’s reflection over the dark Atlantic 🤩🥰 what a view!!! Don’t you think it’s beautiful…
Bye bye America 🇺🇸
Flight time is 6:12 hours… rather fast. Going was longer. Time difference will be 6 hours going forward in time for me 😉🤓
5470km to go to Madrid Spain 🇪🇸
Beautiful clouds in the sky… wing view out of my window.
Slowly we see a sunset 🌅
Fluffy clouds at 18:14h
I watched a few movies this time… couldn’t sleep as it wasn’t time to sleep for me hehehe 🤭
Here you see we are almost arriving in Madrid 😎
Early morning now 5:15h Saturday morning Spanish time.
Still dark outside… 🌔 view out of the window… we see millions of lights…
As we turn direction, I suddenly see a beautiful and large moon 🌝 trying to capture it with a longer shutter speed and flying fast in the plane isn’t ideal… so you see some ghost moons that makes the moon blurry 😎
After landing and rolling to the terminal I could capture the moon better… do you see her ?🌝
Getting off the plane ✈️ and following connecting flights signs at 06:02h in the morning. 🥱😴😴
Passing by these artworks in Madrid airport. Of course I had to stop to take some photographs 📱📸
They are cute…
Wandering around and finding the right terminal for our next flight… in 5 hours…
We have some time to kill 😉
When I see the sunrise… I take this photograph in the area I am waiting. (Not our plane btw.)
Time for some drinks me think. So we went to Starbucks 😎😊 she got my name right this time 🥰😉 a blue berry muffin and a cappuccino couldn’t be missed. Hahaha
Look Starbucks Madrid in Terminal 4 has some paintings around… 🤩😎 I found this mural. Too bad no artist name was mentioned.
It is large and goes over the walls around the sitting area.
Around the corner… even mushrooms 🍄 look 
Around 10:16h we walk towards the gate. Above me I see the roof again, I saw while going to Boston 2 weeks ago. Do you remember?
The monitor changes into our flight.
We didn’t have a bridge into the plane. We had to walk to this little plane ✈️ We are boarding at 11:10h
It’s not big at all…
2 seats at each side, it was full though.
Above Spain we see the dry areas again…
Closer to Málaga we fly over the famous area “Embalsa Conde de Guadalhorce” where the “Caminito Del Rey” is located… a famous walk along the mountain. 😎😉 I show you one day 🤓
A beautiful area… 🥰
As we land 🛬 we go past the terminal of Málaga airport and the tower.
We pass also this cute private plane by 🛩 beautiful in silver 😎
After stopping on the tarmac we are brought with a bus to the terminal at 12:46h
I still haven’t slept here… 🥱🥱
After getting back to the car, driving back to home…
Our views along the way… going over some toll roads…
We finally arrived home around 15:00h Saturday / Yesterday.
I managed to stay up until 2100h, than I crashed and didn’t wake up until this morning at 1100h hahaha 🤣
Guess I needed some sleep. 😴😴
Now we have to adjust a bit at the time difference…
I will catch up here. And post our adventures soon, very soon…
