Join me today as we walk around the #moody city of ‘s-Hertogenbosch aka DEN-BOSCH and look up at its #architecture and beautiful #facades. This city is located in the NETHERLANDS 🇳🇱

We arrive by train 🚂 at the train station, walking out of the building… down the street towards the city centre we see this wonderful fountain ⛲️ :
It has #dragons on it… 🐲
A different angle 😊
The long streets into the centre, today it is darker as normal… a storm is brewing⛈️
We cross the river and see a terrace along its shores.
The little streets are covered with #cobblestone 😊
This is a city you must look up at the front of the buildings. So much details to see. The architecture here is stunning.
Standing on the large square we look around.
Some of the old facades are well preserved and have some surprising details. 😎
Like this old cinema 🎦 building. Don’t get fooled by the small front/ entrance… it is huge going in… towards the back.
A cute little restaurant / bar ☕️
Wandering further we end up on another large square, we see this sculpture between the green trees 🌳
We take in all the views and all the little details around us. Really there is sooooo much to see 😎
Even #unicorns 🦄 can be found 😊
Let’s wander further and cross the river again. This time we look at the other side. We see little boats 🚤
Since I left the Netherlands, lots of things changed…
I heard about a project that I just had to visit next time I was in this city. THE #ARMADA PROJECT.

The buildings resemble sailing ships and their orientation is perfect for the sun and wind paths.

This moody day does help with the overall feel of these structures. 😎
The water is a perfect addition to resemble real ships and their sails ⛵️
We are walking all the way around to see every angle… ok ok… maybe it's a bit boring for you… but for me… one of my other loves. Architecture…. As I did study it and worked a long time in the field, in case you didn’t know 🤓
