❄️☃️ Let me show you the CITY OF HUDIKSVALL IN SWEDEN ~ For my 3rd HIVE ANNIVERSARY 🥳🥳
Let me show you some HIGHLIGHTS of the AMAZING CITY OF HUDIKSVALL ~ in Gävleborg County, SWEDEN 🇸🇪 on a beautiful #WINTER day. Today is also my 3rd #HIVE #ANNIVERSARY 🥳🥳 wooohhhoooo I am 3 years on HIVE ~ 8 DECEMBER 2021 I joined... and boy a lot has happened during those 3 years. I took you on many #adventures and #travels with me, showed you beautiful #artworks and even took you along on many (country) #moves hahaha 🤣
To 🥂 many many more crazy adventures together! Wooohhooooo 😎🥰 THANKS for being here with me. Also to celebrate this HIVE #BIRTHDAY #CELEBRATION today 🥳

Date : 5 February 2024, I visited while we were on a road trip to move countries.
The Photographs in this post are taken with my iPhone 📱

Get your gloves 🧤 scarf 🧣 and hat out… to start our walk around after we parked our car. We need it ☃️
Now we are all nice and warm, let’s go!
Wandering the streets we see up a hill a church. ⛪️ Shall we check it out?
Yes! We decided to take a look as it looks stunning. Especially on this sunny day with blue skies ☀️
It is “Hudiksvalls kyrka” the church of Hudiksvall.
The gate is open, shall we walk around the church grounds?
I like its #architectural features.
The trees next to the path on the church yard are stunning, yes… even without leaves 🍃
At the end of the path we look back at the church.
The #snow, the paths and #trees do frame it well.
We walk back towards the centre of the city Hudiksvall. We see residential areas. Slippery icy roads and footpaths.
Back in the centre… we decide to check out a restaurant to have some lunch.
We found a lovely little bakery and deli. One of my favourite places on this road trip.
I had the shrimp salad 🥗 with cappuccino.
And hubby had the chicken salad with cappuccino.
Next to this we could take out of the open buffet other little nibbles : like tapas dishes in Spain… that was included with our meals and drinks.
Such a nice thing.
Do yourself a favour if you are in Hudiksvall one day. Check out this bakery for lunch or breakfast:

After our lunch and hot drinks we continue our walk through the city. If you know Hudiksvall… you know where we just HAVE to head towards now.
THE highlight (in my eyes) of the city:
Crossing the road and looking to the left we see.
The buildings are huge.
Now this is what I mean by “the highlight”. Just look at this view! 👇🏻
I was so happy that today was a bright blue sunny and calm day. To show you this scene.😊 The water surface is almost perfect 🤩
Walking over the little bridge. STUNNING 🤩
The water looked so dark. It complements the red facades very well. The #reflections are wonderful.
At the other end of the river… hopping through the piles of snow to get these shots 📸 hahaha 🤣
We wander further and see this heart ♥️
The end of the pedestrian zone of the city’s centre.
We see a kindness hut. People can donate warm winter clothes and people in need can take them.
Such a wonderful idea. Especially with the winters in Sweden 🇸🇪
A little bit further we find this sculpture! Beautifully executed. So many details. Even wrinkles in his face.

We walk back towards the centre again… looking back.
Next to us is this cute little river / waterway.

We head back to the car now and say goodbye 👋🏻 to this stunning city. I liked exploring it and hope to go back one day. What was your favourite view?
