FungiFriday ~ FUNKY curled MUSHROOM 🍄‍🟫

Hi all 👋🏻 😊

During a walk in a forest last August, I found this rather #Funky looking MUSHROOM. 🍄‍🟫 It was curled up on the edge and the underside / the pores, were very thick. Very #unique looking mushroom… The light and setting was perfect this day to #capture this mushroom well. Come and have a look 😊

The 9 mushroom photos are taken with my phone 😎 on 7 August 2024 during a walk in the forest 🌳

Let’s have a closer look at this FUNKY mushroom.

From above you see how the edge of its cap is curled up… changing its entire shape.

Closer by from the side… it is standing between some beautiful vegetation. 😊 Do you see the insect? 🦟

A bit further away… the heather surrounds it.

I take a closeup from below. See all its #pores. The stem is just visible.

Such a beautiful funky mushroom 🍄‍🟫 I like this one.
