Yes, indeed, "it is mind filled with humor and phantasms", such for instance a poet would say (I count you as one).

I'm afraid I was too obscure with this 'humor' reference. I was referring to the ancient theory that our physical-mental disposition stemmed from humors in our bodies. This idea was the first attempt at attributing physical causes to illnesses and imbalances rather than supernatural causes. So, in this sense, the idea was revolutionary, but it wasn't the whole truth. Later, we understood that our brain was a complex network of neurons, not humors. Thus, revealing one truth (physical causes over the supernatural) led to another more amazing discovery- the neuronal network from which our cognition arises. Secrets upon secrets. That's exciting to me!

I try to take the words "mere," "only," "nothing but," "proven," "undoubted," "merely," etc. out of my vocabulary... Try it, it gives speaking and writing a whole new dimension.

I've tried variations of this exercise. I used an elastic band on my wrist, and I snapped it hard whenever I committed a transgression. :)
