This city is full of history and charm. This is the historic part, which has maintained its old character in spite of its tumultuous past. I felt as if I had arrived at a different era or perhaps a movie set. Outside this area, the city is more modern and has a different vibe. I hope your brother gets to visit it one day because it's wonderful and inspiring.
