Hi Hivers, going through the options for this weekend I will answer briefly that for sleeping I use 100% cotton pajamas, it is a fresh and soft fabric able to adapt to the weather, if it's cold it keeps you warm and if it's hot it keeps you cool. My pajamas are usually shorts and t-shirt and others a little more formal for when I go on a trip and I have to share a room.

For some things I prefer upstairs, but for this commitment I choose downstairs, if under the sea like a beautiful mermaid exploring the seas and oceans. Appreciating and respecting marine life.

And now with you... The forever outfit

In Caracas (Venezuela) there was a brand of dresses for girls called Los Mil Modelos (The Thousand Models) and they made beautiful outfits, for the time they used floral prints, plaids, stripes and also unicolor fabrics, as well as lace and the end result were dresses of several layers, with princess type dresses (inflated), a big bow in the back that made the girls look like dolls.

My mom, a classic style fanatic, would buy those dresses for me and finish the outfit with shiny shoes and lace stockings, sometimes when the dress was casual, she would wear sandals. I was a classy little girl. However, at the age of 8 I told my mom not to buy me any more dresses because I wanted to wear blue jeans or denim, although I had some, it was not for everyday wear.

Dresses were already making me feel embarrassed, out of place. My mom didn't ask me why, but I accept that I was growing up and wanted to decide how to look, although she did make me wear the dresses to visit my grandparents on weekends from time to time.

From that moment on the Blue Jeans and I have been inseparable. It is a very versatile garment and I love that. I can wear the same pants with sneakers and a flannel for those days of walking around the city or even up the mountain since there are now blue jeans in stretch fabric, with casual shoes and a sweater or with heels and dress blouses, coats, jackets.

We can wear different looks with the same pants. The color will also make a difference. If it is light blue it will look more sporty while an indigo blue tone will give a distinctive touch. There are also black ones, although the name would change to just Jeans, I guess.

In my working life I was lucky enough to be allowed to wear Blue Jeans, only one time we were assigned a uniform that lasted a year, then I went back to Blue Jeans. They have been with me for all events, I like them classic and straight cut, although the trend has made me go out of my comfort zone by wearing tight cut to the ankles (like a sports lycra). When the trend takes over, manufacturers forget about the conservative or less fashion risk-takers.

I always have in my closet a classic black pant that is not denim as well as others in dark tones such as blue, olive green, gray or brown, for those moments when I want to shine and surprise because for me it is a challenge.

My favorite brand was Levis and I used to wear the 501 and 550 models, then they became too expensive and I was forced to change brands. Since then I look for what I like and is of good quality regardless of the manufacturer or place of origin. In the same way I wore them with lace, embroidery, applications such as stones, pearls and so many other things. Worn but not so much since less is more.

For my birthday or others, Christmas, New Year, family outing, for church, college, friends meeting, Hivers, and for much more the blue jeans will be present for me.

I love Blue Jeans it is my favorite item of clothing for life. I hope to be a young grandmother and continue to wear those pants and when I leave this world, they should dress me in my best Blue Jeans.
