A little more than 3 months ago, the first humans have set foot on Liotes . For the first time, we get a report from the people on the ground:
Hello this is Tania Lemaire, I'm the team leader here in Leonopolis. It's an honor to be the first person to deliver a report from this planet.
During the time that we have been on the surface, we have been very busy. Our team consists of 10 people who have been prepared for specific tasks. Our main objective is to make the settlement ready for more people.
When we landed, the 9 domes built out of tarkovium were empty spheres linked by tunnels. Our first task was to seal these domes. We had carried the necessary materials with us on the Jumper. It's a rather big vessel that isn't really fast but that can carry a lot of equipment. The Jumper is still our living quarters. We landed the vessel about 150 meters outside of the settlement and we built a connection road with the 3D printers. We have a tractor that allows us to move every day to the settlement and to carry our equipment.
The first domes of Lenopolis
After sealing the first Domes, we modified a certain number of Liotes Mills that are now providing us with power for our work. They use the energy produced by the not modified Liotes Mills and transform it into electricity.
The next step was to install the necessary infrastructure into the different Domes. We are still doing this and the progress is rather slow. The gravity on Liotes is very similar to that on earth so we can move at a normal pace. The problem is that we still need to wear our space suits and our movements are restricted and slow.
We have regular contact with the Ark 62. They are preparing another vessel that will join us once Leonoplis will be ready for more people.
