Hellooooo, hellooooooo! Greetings and my respects to the jewelry creators. Making accessories to look cute and charming on the beach is not an easy task. I don't remember going to the beach with someone and returning home with them. I have always lost them with the sway of the waves or through carelessness they have gotten tangled in my hair, in the case of earrings and necklaces, and I lose them. Another thing that must be taken into account is the materials with which they are made, if they are made with chains with corrosive materials, we know that the duration is very short. That is why when we make or buy beach accessories, we have to take into account that they are resistant to salt air.
Taking these characteristics into account, for my participation in the contest, I used wooden, bamboo and plastic beads, which are very resistant to saltpeter. As for getting lost, I think it is inevitable unless we sit there just observing and in my case, it is impossible because I love bathing at the beach when I have the chance.

No recuerdo haber ido a a playa con alguno y haber regresado con 茅l a casa. Siempre se me han perdido con el vaiv茅n de las olas o en un descuido se ha quedado enredado en el cabello, en el caso de los aretes y collares, y se me pierden. Otra cosa que hay que tomar en cuenta, es los materiales con los que se elaboran, si son elaborados con cadenas con con materiales corrosivos, sabemos que el tiempo de duraci贸n es muy corto. Es por eso que cuando hacemos o compramos accesorios para a playa, tenemos que tomar en cuenta que sean resistente a la salitre.
Tomando en cuenta estas caracter铆sticas,para mi participaci贸n en el concurso, utilic茅 cuentas de madera, bamb煤 y pl谩sticas, que son muy resistentes a la salitre. En cuanto al extrav铆o creo que es algo inevitable a menos que nos quedemos sentadas s贸lo observando y en mi caso, es imposible porque me encanta ba帽arme en la playa cuando tengo oportunidad.

The necklace I made is adjustable, so that we can adjust it to the length we want. We are going to use 80 cm of brown Chinese thread.

We fold the threads in half and we are going to insert both ends through the hole in the shell at the back and once we pass them to the front we make a lark knot to secure the snail.
Doblamos el hilos a la mitad y vamos a introducir ambas puntas por el agujero que tiene la concha por detr谩s y una vez que los pasamos al frente realizamos un nudo alondra para asegurar el caracol.
We take a 6 mm glass and pass both strands of the thread and place it close to the snail.
Tomamos un cristal de 6 mm y pasamos ambas hebras del hilo y lo colocamos pegado del caracol.
We separate the threads and begin to form the design on one of the sides. We introduce a 4 mm crystal, then a 6 mm dark brown wooden bead, an 8 mm light brown one, a 6 mm dark brown bead and we finish with a 4 mm crystal.

Next we place two small bamboo beads and repeat the previous series.

As it is an adjustable necklace, for the closure I used the macram茅 technique with a flat knot because it is very easy to make and adapts to the selected model. I used 20cm of brown Chinese thread and tied 8 flat knots, then cut off the excess and sealed with the lighter.
Al ser un collar ajustable, para el cierre utilic茅 la t茅cnica macram茅 con nudo plano por ser muy f谩cil de hacer y se adapta al modelo seleccionado. Utilic茅 20 cm de hilo chino marr贸n y realic茅 8 nudos planos, luego cort茅 el exceso y sell茅 con el encendedor.
To finish the threads, I placed a 6 mm crystal on each strand, tied a common knot and sealed with the lighter.
Para el acabado de los hilos coloqu茅 un cristal de 6 mm en cada hebra, hice un nudo com煤n y sell茅 con el encendedor.
We are going to use 20 cm of brown Chinese thread. With the lighter we make the needle tip to facilitate the introduction through the beads.

We join the two strands of thread and insert them through a 6 mm glass to shape it into a triangle.

We continue introducing a 6 mm brown bead, an 8 mm bead and another 6 mm bead through the two threads. Then we place the hook on one of the threads, tie a knot, cut off the excess thread and seal it with the lighter.

This beach set is very easy to make, it is also very economical and adapts to the occasion since to go to the beach we need accessories that make us look pretty and so that we do not have the fear of our pieces being damaged or lost. Of course, if you want a more sophisticated and elegant accessory, you should know that you have to use very good quality materials that saltpeter will not damage.
