My name is Ling, not my real name but I'm using this penname since I start joining in read.cash. Nothing stands for Ling it is just one of my nickname made by my close friends. I first encountered the term "Hive" by reading some articles in read.cash. I know that they are enjoying here, based on how they share their experiences and achievements. Due to my busyness in personal life and business, I decided not to take a look about it. Not until few months ago one of my very close friend, invite me to join him in Hive. I was so happy in his invitation, although I'm pretty sure that I cannot join yet that time, but to my gratitude I am here now with the help also of Sis @Pinkchik. I am so excited when I saw her post about hive and decided to comment immediately asking some questions, to my luck she is a good person and replied to me immediately, with all the basics that I need to focus first.
It was last night when I set-up my account and familiarize the options in order for me to understand how it works. I remember three years ago when I always sleep late at night just to find a perfect blogging site. I create an account in different sites but unfortunately it all end up useless. There is one site which my task is to create an informative article about the solar system, being a lover of astronomy it activate my interest and enjoy while making my first article online, supposedly. When I pass it for them to check, the system said that I am using the word "The", many times, I edit and pass again but it said that I am still using it more. What I did is I delete all the "The" but to my surprise, still it said that I need to minimize using "The". Like what? Okay that is just one of my experience that I want to share.
I am a lover of art, so you can expect topics about art and crafts in my article. You can read my recent article about it which is the Use of Different Sketching Materials. In this article, I shared how to use those materials that most artists commonly use in sketching. I know there are a lot of artists in here, and I would love to see your works too. Also, I'm into the topics of literature and mythology, sharing about traditions and beliefs, especially the Filipino customs. There are also times that I want to share my life about what I like, I do and I don't. Next, I love to share horror stories which I personally experience and of course stories from elders is always on the list. Lastly, there are times that my mind want to create a random topics, so you may notice that sometimes I am out of nowhere.
The main reason why I want to be part of hive community is to enhance my writing skills, gain more knowledge through reading articles made by the users that I can engage, and to explore more the world of blogging. In this way I cannot only develop myself but to have a self-discipline, I know expert writers here understand how important self-discipline in terms of blogging.
I am excited to get to know a lot of good users here. I want to first establish my account and at least provide a read-worthy article. Any suggestions you have for me, on how I should write or details regarding the system would be greatly appreciated. I'm eager to learn from you and build a friendship with all of you.
