Hello everyone, hope you're are having a fantastic day. Here's number 2 in the beach bums series.
I started this artwork with a quick sketch. I had seen a picture of a lady walking down the beach wear these swimmers, I loved them and wanted to include them. What do you guys think?
In my mind I pictured a setting sun, in a sky of pink. So lets get the show started, let the glueing and ripping begin.
This is when my idea started to change, I decided to turn day into night.
I was starting to like where this artwork was going, but felt there was something missing.
I added more hair, scoring some beautiful blonde locks off a shampoo advertisment. I added flowers to her hair, and I changed her sunglasses (I thought the orange would stand out more and compliment the flowers).
Now for the stars - added by flicking runny white paint with a toothbrush.
