[ENGLISH] Hello dear friends of the monochromatic style, once again I return to my blog to tell a story about people and their environment, the theme chosen for participation in today's #monomad challenge I have titled An Old Fisherman, through my story and images you will be able to know the life of an old man dedicated to fishing.
The series of photos that I show you were taken some time ago, I remember that I had not bought my camera, that simple detail had stopped me all this time to tell this story, it turns out that I no longer feel very comfortable showing photos taken with the cell phone, there is a big difference in the quality of the image compared to those taken with the camera, but I did not want to leave this story on my computer, so I decided to show them to you and you will say if it was to your liking, then we started.
I remember that when I started posting in the communities dedicated to photographs, I would go out sometimes to walk and look for images with my cell phone to show, one day early in the morning I was walking around the city park, which has a huge natural lagoon and I found an old man fishing.
Our town is known for its naturalness, spontaneity and solidarity among many other positive traits that allow us to establish conversations with people we do not know, as is the case of this fisherman. As soon as I got closer and he started talking as if he had known me for years, he told me about his hobby of fishing since childhood, a hobby taught and shared with his father, who took him fishing from his early years, something that he loved and became over the years a tradition, they traveled kilometers of distances to be able to fish, mainly for the coasts, looking for saws, pilferer, pickaxes, mackerel, etc., especially sea fish.
Over the years, moving to coastal areas became more difficult, accompanied by the loss of his best companion, made him lose his enthusiasm, and the hobby became something very sporadic, as the years passed he told me that he started fishing in freshwater areas, although it was not what he wanted, at least he could do what he liked fishing and that's how he felt close to his father.
When he got older he couldn't travel anymore and his fisherman's soul was tied to this artificial lagoon, where every Saturday we can find him with his fishing wand, his hooks, his bait and a big smile on his face doing what he likes and what dad taught him.
So I finish my story today, I leave you with the images and as usual wishing you an excellent day, love and peace.
Kind regards.
Saludos afectuosos.
