The water in the bird bath is frozen, the red rose bush has one remaining flower and bud to share - the winter cold has descended upon us - the bulbs for spring flowers have been planted to sleep till Springtime - my gardening complete, I have retreated indoors to now become a humble carpenter and am making shelves in my windows and stands for the 18 pots of flowers I have brought inside. for everything there is a time and season. The Delta Variant of the Corona-virus has now raised the number of daily cases in China, Russia, and most of Europe to record levels! The scientists tell us that this pandemic will not subside until everyone who has not been vaccinated has been infected and "herd immunity" is achieved world-wide. As the weather becomes colder and people gather indoors with doors and windows closed, if one person carrying the virus is in the room, the virus will build up to a level that can infect everyone else in the room who is not vaccinated and even cause break-through infections among the vaccinated. Europe is having to again take drastic measures - Austria is under total lockdown for 20 days and the government has imposed required vaccinations of all citizens with those who refuse to be vaccinated being confined to home confinement until they are vaccinated. With the twists and turns of this pandemic it is impossible to know when it will be safe to visit friends anywhere in the world.

"Oh, sweet mystery of life, at last I have found you...' An old song

Holly crap, Christmas is near & I remember when I was in Nepal we had a great time together at our last Christmas party. Christmas is for me a time of both joy and sadness. So many of these decorations you are seeing were from my friends Mother's and he always share with me his feelings for her mother that "she loved Christmas and there are so many memories of Christmas parties for my entire class when I was in high school and it was the only Christmas for many of them and on the rare occasions I have meet with some of those classmates it is the first thing they want to reminisce about. And there were parties with all my aunts and uncles and family musicals at my grandmother Eckerd's and going to Church for a service of carols on Christmas Eve. So many memories. And now the joy, also, of creating a beautiful Christmas for friends when I am here, in Nepal, in Dakshinachitra, or anywhere else in the world. This is all his beautiful feelings that he shared with me. Life is beautiful when we think it is beautiful. Memories never die or replace, they only travel through time. Isn't it, the most mischievous thing in our life??

The blue sky has turned very dark after being scorched by the sun all day. I know the darkness will pass, and the light will return one day. But my mind is in agony because I dislike the sudden darkness. A gust of wind blew through my open hair. The black sky and the glow, combined, seemed to fill my mind with uncertainty. Nature may have recognized my mental anguish and drowned me in her own water to wash away my anguish.

There's no need to get irritated. For unknown reasons, the mind becomes agitated. This afternoon, I decided I'd go for a walk. However, the entire sky darkened at that point, as if everything had become random. That beautiful sky no longer has any blue in it; instead, it is now packed with dark clouds. Everyone likes rain, and I enjoy it as well; I sometimes get lost in it, but today I'm not feeling well, so I'm not a fan of this form of essence. I understand that nature wants to bathe me in its water to cleanse my mind, but I don't want to be wet today because I've been soaked in my own tears a lot.
