Hace algunos años, capturé unas fotografías, que aunque no son las mejores, son una de mis favoritas y no, no salgo más guapo, no. No se trata de eso. Pero son gráficas en donde la ciudad de Caracas, espléndida en su desorden, se ve hermosa, gigantesca, inalcanzable, seductora.

A mis espaldas (las espaldas de hace siete años) se ve la parte norte de la ciudad, custodiada por el majestuoso Ávila, una montaña sagrada que protege sin precio a cada caraqueño.
Behind my back (the back of seven years ago) you can see the northern part of the city, guarded by the majestic Ávila, a sacred mountain that pricelessly protects every person from Caracas.
Estaba en ese momento en el punto más alto construido por el hombre en este inigualable país. En la ciudad cuyo nombre es sinónimo de libertad, de rebeldía, de autosuficiencia y bastante pero bastante belleza.
