Many people spend their majority of their time on YouTube, Gaming or simply waste their time; FREE TIME. When they can learn a shit lot, the internet has become a huge asset for everyone, literally everyone but in reality most people use it to entertain themselves and waste their time watching other people's success.
Many People think that the career to success is made by studying, getting good grades and finishing college with a degree. That’s one boring way to do it and you may end working in freaking McDonald's acording to studies about 1/3 of the American population have a bachelor's degree and 9/10 have a high school degree. Standards are rising very fast.
There is a reason why I explained the importance of the internet at the beginning. Instead of wasting your time LEARN SOMETHING, I'm not talking about learning the next topic on your math class or the next chapter on your history book.
In order to stand-out you need to start young; for example, if you want to work at Google in the future, you got to start and learn a programming language, if you want a finance career you might as well look into day-trading and it goes on. In my opinion companies don't look into grades they look into experience.
"The key to success is not in following trends, it is based on being original; but that is the real problem"
