Just finished this piece for a tattoo commission. I love the archetype and imagery of mermaids.
I starts this in pencil, and outlined in micron pen, and used color pencils for the shading. I'm enjoying using the space effect lately a lot, like I did on the tail.
The underwater world is like our own celestial universe on earth. Thats why we should always protect it! You never know what magical creatures lay beneath.
