A cordial greeting friends, I hope you are well, today I want to share with you some photos of a mantis that we got in one of the plants in our garden, because of its small size we deduced that it was a male, because the females are much larger, it has been a long time since I saw one.
When I saw it, I remembered my childhood, when I was little I played with them, I put them in my hand and asked him "where is your house?" as if he listened to me, the truth is that he raised his arms and pointed to the front, or that was what I thought as a child, because the way they put their legs is as if they were pointing.
These insects can be green, but I have also seen them brown, they love plants, sometimes their color is similar to that of the plants and we cannot see them, they feed on insects, they say they also feed on frogs and even snakes, but I find it so hard to believe, because of their size and how fragile they are.
The truth is that these little animals adorn nature, and when I saw it we took many pictures, but it was difficult to get clear pictures, because it moved a lot, it even jumped on the phone when we were taking the pictures.
When you see one in your home, take care of them, do not harm them and much less kill them because these insects give balance in the ecosystem, besides decorating your garden in a beautiful way, you have to teach children not to harm them, since I taught my children not to mistreat them, just like all other animals.
I say goodbye reminding you, that nature is very beautiful and that its variety of animals, including insects, our creator made it for a purpose, and it is our job, to take care of them with affection and love and never hurt them, let us always remember this, and so we will enjoy nature much more.
