Hello friends of this beautiful community of Hive Diy, I am still in the world of weaving, the truth is that I really like weaving because in addition to creating it relaxes me a lot and when I do it my mind disconnects from all worries, that we women always have enough . In those moments it is as if we only existed in the world, the needle, the thread and me.

Well, my mom has a friend who happens to her what happens to me, she entertains a lot knitting. Well, in these times that it has been raining a lot here, she came up with the idea of making a lining for her umbrella because she always loses it, leaves it watered wherever she goes and from that idea came this craft that you will see how useful It's for people who are forgetful like me haha. It is very beautiful because the fabric itself is always beautiful, but it is also very useful and comfortable at the same time, it can be made of another material according to the possibilities of each one.

Now I explain how I made this useful umbrella holder.

The weaving begins by making a chain of 16 chains and they are joined at the ends, leaving a roundel, which will always be according to the size of the tip or cap of the umbrella that the lining is going to make.

Next, 25 barriers were woven on the chains one next to the other without leaving spaces so that it looks like in the image.

The second lap, which will be with jimmies too, but always leaving a chain between jimmy and jimmy, were two laps like that.

From there it begins with the mesh stitch which is done, the first 10 rows of mesh stitch were 10 stitches each and when number 10 was reached one more Maya was added and so it happened 5 more times finishing the 10 last laps with 15 mesh points, that is, 6 sections of 10 laps were made and in each section a point was increased, reaching the end at 60 laps.

At the end of the mesh points, a round of barriers is made, a total of 60 barriers, 4 for each mesh point. 15 shells are made on the barriers, 1 every 4 barriers, and the body of the umbrella holder is finished.

The only thing left at the end is the handle that is made 8 bars wide so that it holds the weight of the Umbrella well without being uncomfortable. I fixed this handle by weaving it attached to the body of the umbrella holder because it is much prettier, my mom's friend sewed it separately, but I knitted it with single crochet at both ends.
