Today I wanted to review something new so I picked up a 2020 horror family drama Relic.
We follow 3 generation of woman in the family -granny Edna, daughter Kay and granddaughter Sam
In the beginning we can see Edna go missing which makes her daughter and granddaughter go to her house looking for any traces they can fined. After Edna returns the duo starts to discover a presence haunting the house and taking control of Edna.
This movie is soooo good. Everything in the movie has a symbolic and metaphoric meaning which I lovee, I so dig this kind of horror movies
So why do they call it "the scariest movie ever"? Well in my opinion it is, the movie is not about supernatural or ghosts, but something far more sinister and scary. Edna has a " sickness of the mind" or in other words dementia and we can see how it affects her only family , her daughter and granddaughter.
This is a tough movie but overall loving it, 5/5 โญ
I really think everyone should watch it..it's that good xD it's something different
