One of my alltime favorite movies is Amores Perros and like any great movie it has some great music in it.
Let´s start with Mexican hip hop group Control Machete´s

Next is the Queen of Salsa, Celia Cruz.
Born in Cuba in 1925, she left Cuba after Castro came to power.
She went to Mexico first and later on to the US.
Her song La vida es un carnaval might also be a great description of her own life.
