This is what I saw when walking to the hostel, and it was totally unexpected!
Actually visiting Akropolis was something I ditched due to cost and stress, so I never thought I'd see it this time around. And you never know if you'll be able to return of course...
Before the sun set I got to walk around the streets with a view to the temples, it was all great but too touristy and expensive for an evening meal.
I would have eaten here if I had the time, there was long, organized queues, so clearly the food in these quarters was the best!
This graffiti reminded me of Paris in 92 or so, when I also stayed at a hostel, and visited Jim Morissons grave hehe...
This was a weird, super flashy place, I guess it was a sort of fictional museum, selling candy?
The fisheye worked really well here, maybe I'll keep it...
I ended up eating at a rather random restaurant, good food but expensive, it took forever, but the waitress was thankful that I got the point, they were working hard just to get it all done.
As for Akropolis and the whole area around it that will be the next post, actually I had a sort of reaction to seeing all of that which still is a bit hard to explain... All good, of course!
That's it for now! #monomad
