My friend and I played an eighteen-hole disc golf round today. I won with the score at +18 to +25. We were both throwing a bit less far than we are used to. This time of year, that seems normal in the colder conditions.
My friend lost a disc on one of the holes when he turned it too far to the right. We searched for a while, but there were so many thorn bushes growing in the area that it seemed like a lost cause. It is a very fun course to play but it is not very forgiving if you miss the fairway by too much.
The weather was really wonderful for this time of year. It was a little chilly in the morning, but it warmed up and was nice and sunny.
The solar panels put out 11.4 kWhs. I used about 7 kWhs driving my electric car on a round trip to the disc golf course. My e-bike would have used way less power, maybe 0.1 kWh. I have done this trip on the e-bike before, but it takes a lot of time and is a cold ride this time of year. It is nice to be able to get around without having to pay for gas.
