I spent the day resting and doing a bit of disc golf putting practice. I'm trying to decide if I should switch putters at the last minute or stick to what has been half working. I'm not sure about a last-minute change, so I guess I will stay the course with my main putter for now. During my practice, my old putter seemed to be working better than what I have been using, though.
Other than that, there was not much happening. I noticed a small hole in the leaf of one of my orchids. It was a small detail, but never the less a crime had been committed, lol. I figured that I had better catch the perpetrator. I searched high and low and noticed a series of tracks under and around the plant stand but not a sign of anything else out of the ordinary. I started removing some dead leaves and weeds that had grown in some of the planters when I noticed something glistening. There, deep within the African violet, was a giant slug. It was quite happy with the recent watering and looked pretty content for now. I knew it would be back for more of my orchids, so I put it outside to feast on the tomato plant or whatever else it could find, lol.
It's raining a lot now, so no slugs were harmed by the encounter. As near as I can figure, it hitched a ride on my lemon tree when I brought it in for the season.
