My friends and I played a round of eighteen-hole disc golf this morning. It was a little bit windy, so the scores were not as low as usual.
I ended up with the win at +6 to a +8 and +19. I managed to throw a couple of longer forehand drives that worked pretty well. I'm not sure if it is just my imagination, but my arm is feeling it a bit this evening.
My putting is feeling better, but I had a couple of misses today that I know I could have hit in the past.
With my game, not at 100 percent, I'm struggling a bit about an upcoming tournament that I signed up for. It is still far enough away that I could drop the tournament and get a full refund. There are some people on the waiting list that I know would like to play. I'm almost certain that I'm not going to place well in the tournament based on the competition and my arm. I'm not sure if I should stay the course and play the tournament for the experience or back out.
