I went out to the disc golf course to get my lost discs back this morning. To make a long story short, I found both of them.
My putter disc was right where I thought it went, and I had actually seen it the day before when I was searching. It was stuck on edge and looked exactly like the stem of a bramble bush, so I ignored it. I was looking for something orange, but the side of the disc is red. After looking really closely, I found it.
The other Mamba disc was about where I thought it was, too. It was really hard to spot until the morning light reflected off it just right.

The disc was so deep within the bush that I was worried that if I knocked it down, I would not be able to get to it. I went around the other side of the bush and could not even see it. Finally, I looked inside a cave like area next to a tree that other disc golfers must have hollewed out. I had looked inside there earlier and not spotted the disc. When I went inside this time, I saw my disc retriever tool, but it still took me five minutes to spot the disc even though I knew it was somewhere in line with the tool.
I was happy to get the disc back it has a bit of sentimental value because it was one of the first discs I purchased. I sold it to my friend one time and he lost it in the river. Many months later, I got it back because my name was on it, but my friend did not want it at the time. I throw it once in a while, but it is really too flippy this time of year. The plastic softens up, and it gets hard to control, so I will likely put it on the shelf at least until it gets colder.
